Max is a very intelligent dog and has excelled in his obedience training. He should be hitting the trialling circuits soon. He has shown an instinct to work as well as a kind disposition towards stock, with a keen eye. Max has a broad head and a generous length of coat.
As his name suggests, Max was a little terror when he was a puppy but he has now matured into a very kind and sensitive young male dog with a great carefree temperment.

Max has just started his herding carear with two Herding Instinct test passes on sheep and ducks. His natural working ability is evident and should see him excel in this area. Judge's (A KIDD SA) comments on first herding instinct test on sheep "Good Control, demonstrated keen interest. Sheep focused"
Max participated in his first Flyball competition, a team member of Fly Dover, div 1 held at Para Districts in December 2007. Max easily gained his Fly Dog (FD) title. Max was amazing for all of the heats before lunch, but started to waiver after lunch especially in the heat. Max was awarded the funniest moment at comp where he had to stop mid run to rest the ball on a jump, although he wasn't doing what he was supposed to do, you just had to laugh. Max gained his final points for his FDX title at the Adelaide Royal Show. He is well on his way to his Flyball Ch title.
